Mercedes Benz Museum
Overview
Your entrance ticket opens up the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, where a lift takes you to the top and two routes wind back down through the story of the motor car, past around 160 vehicles.
Highlights
- Legend rooms: The brand’s history era by era, set against world events.
- Collection rooms: Vehicles grouped by theme; switch routes as you go.
- Famous road cars: Gullwings and super sports cars among the classics on display.
- Fascination of Technology: Both routes end with today’s research, design and production.
Good to know
- Time on site: About 1.5 hours, enough for the highlights rather than every exhibit.
- Activity level: Moderate – a lift up, then a long, gradual walk down on foot through the levels, on hard floors.
- Best for: Car lovers, families and anyone interested in engineering and design.
