location_on Brussels, Belgium schedule 1 hours

Overview

Walk through a continent in an hour at Mini-Europe, the miniature park at the foot of the Atomium in Brussels. Landmarks from across Europe stand side by side in detailed scale models, many of them with moving parts you can set off yourself.

Highlights

  • Famous landmarks: Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate and the Doge’s Palace in Venice, among many others.
  • Push-button models: Press a button to make Mount Vesuvius erupt or bring down the Berlin Wall.
  • Moving details: Trains, boats and lights bring the scenes to life as you go round.
  • Spirit of Europe: An interactive exhibition on how the European Union connects its member countries.

Good to know

  • Time on site: About 1 hour.
  • Activity level: Easy: a flat, outdoor walking circuit with plenty of standing for photos.
  • Pairs well with: Atomium Entry next door, or Belgium Beer World.
