Sagrada Familia Entrance Ticket
Overview
Step inside Gaudí’s basilica, where stone columns branch like trees towards the vaulted ceiling and stained glass washes the nave in colour. Building work is still going on, and your timed-entry ticket covers the interior and the museum.
Highlights
- Forest of columns: Tree-like columns that branch to carry the weight of the roof.
- Stained glass: Cool blues on the Nativity side for the morning light, warm reds and oranges on the Passion side for the evening.
- Two façades: The Nativity and Passion façades, very different in mood.
- Museum: Gaudí’s hanging chain model and plaster models that survived the 1936 fire.
Good to know
- Time on site: About 2 hours inside the basilica and museum.
- Activity level: Easy: level walking and standing indoors, with a security check at the gate.
- Pairs well with: Park Güell Entry, for more of Gaudí the same day.
