Overview

Take the lift to the top of the A’DAM Tower across the IJ and look out over Amsterdam from about 100 metres up. The ride comes with a sound-and-light show, and up top you have indoor and outdoor decks.

Highlights

  • Sky decks: Indoor and open-air platforms with 360-degree views over the city and the IJ.
  • City spotting: Canal rings, church spires, the harbour and the flat polders beyond.
  • Interactive displays: Touchscreens and a projected city model.
  • Over the Edge: An optional swing out over the edge of the tower.

Good to know

  • Time on site: About 1 hour for the lift, displays and both decks.
  • Activity level: Easy: lifts take you up, with a little walking and standing; the outdoor deck is often windy.
  • Pairs well with: An Amsterdam Canal Cruise or the Heineken Brewery Tour.
